Dr. Will M. Jallah, professionally and affectionally known as Dr. Will, was born onto the union of Mr. Joseph M. Jallah and Ma Weedow Zoeboe (both deceased) on July 31, 1965, in the Firestone Plantations Company, Liberia, West Africa. He began his educational journey in the Firestone Plantations School System, graduating from junior high school in 1984. He then attended the Booker Washington Institute High School (BWI) in Kakata City, where he earned a diploma in Bookkeeping and Accounting.

Dr. Will continued his studies at the University of Liberia in 1989 with a concentration in Accounting and Business Management.  In 1996, he relocated to the United States and enrolled in the accounting program at Georgia State University and obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting in 2001. Upon graduation from Georgia State University in 2001, he pursued a Master of Business Administration in Marketing in 2006 at American Intercontinental University, and graduated in 2007. Still in pursuit of a higher education, Dr. Will enrolled at Keller Graduate School of Management/DeVry University in 2008 and obtained his Master in Accounting and Financial Management in 2009.  In April of 2014, Dr. Will embarked on the culmination of his academia, when he began his doctoral studies at Capella University in 2014 with a specialization in accounting and extensive studies in forensic accounting. While completing his doctoral program, Dr. Will as the founder and CEO of Global Tax Solutions & Accounting Services Inc., simultaneously managed his doctoral program and the company successfully.

As a result of his unwavering tenacity, he earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in accounting on May 4, 2020.  Dr. Will’s dissertation titled “Enhanced Professional Certification, Professional Skepticism, and Risk Assessment During Financial Statement Audits,” examined the relationships between enhanced professional certifications, professional skepticism of auditors, and risk assessment during financial statement audits using the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) framework. The COSO internal control framework focuses on organizations’ control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring.  Specifically, the framework provides guidance on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Internal Control, Fraud Deterrence and Governance for organizations.

Essentially, Dr. Will’s study investigated the possible scientific relationship, if any, between Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) with one or more enhanced professional certifications, example, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and the CPA’s professional skepticism while using the COSO internal control framework during a financial statement audit. Upon obtaining his doctorate, Dr. Will’s manuscript was published in late 2020 and listed on Amazon.com with more than 600 copies sold.

Dr. Will is the Founder and CEO of Global Tax Solutions & Accounting Services Inc, a Georgia based corporation established in 2010 which is birthed from Willico Enterprises, founded in 2001. With over 15 years of combined experiences in accounting, finance, and tax services.  Additionally, he has a vast experience in auditing and business valuation.  Dr. Will serves as Managing Partner, offering extensive expertise in these fields, and much more.
